Make an appointment with CFA archivists who will inspect your home movies, talk about ways to care for them, and project them on the big screen. Win prizes by playing the world acclaimed Home Movie Bingo! Bring the whole family!

Chicago Film Archives firmly believes that the public presentation of these family legacies builds and strengthens communities. This event not only offers family the chance see Aunt Edna for the first time in forty years, but also an opportunity for audience members to reconsider these home movies as cultural artifacts that reach far beyond the family.

Come anytime between 12-5PM! Film inspections take place from 12-4PM, while an open screening of yours and others home movies will be held from 4-5PM.

Even if you don’t have any films to share, don’t be afraid to come out for the festivities!  Popcorn and Home Movie Day Bingo for all! Raffle prizes for the lucky ones!

Can’t make it that day, but want to see your films on DVD? Call CFA about our home movie transfer service.
