Abstract
Silent home movies featuring the Finnegans’ trip to Tampa, Florida and wintertime at home in Chicago.
Description
The film begins with a vacation trip to Tampa, Florida. Mrs. Finnegan and a girl, possibly around 13 years old, are seen feeding brown pelicans.
Several children are seen behind a window, holding up items, possibly Christmas presents, including dolls, a panda, books about wool and horses, and ice skates.
In a winter scene with snow covering the ground, Mrs. Finnegan pulls a child on a sled and takes a tumble and laughs. This is followed by the arrival of several people, including a baby bundled up in blankets. Several people take turns feeding and holding the infant – possibly the grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Finnegan. A man in a US Army uniform is then shown emerging from the Finnegan residence at 7462 Sheridan Road.
