Abstract
This short film captures highlights from a circus performance. Acts include performances from clowns, dancing dogs, elephants, acrobats, leopards & tigers, magicians, horses, chimpanzees and trapeze artists.
Abstract
Funded in part by Encyclopedia Brittanica, these short spots were directed by local cameraman, producer, and journalist Harry Mantel – most likely for public television broadcast. These films are portraits he constructed of the city and its people. This particular reel contains the following vignettes: “Art Fair”, “Fire”, “Air Traffic Controller”, “Waiters”, “Monkeys”, “Flower Conservatory[?]” and “Circus”.
