Abstract
Documentation of anti-war protestors shot in Washington, D.C. (most likely on November 15, 1969) at the “Moratorium March on Washington.” At times the camera is positioned above the crowd and at other times it is in the crowd. Protestors fill the frame for most of the reel, and, at times, the U.S. Capitol building and the Washington Monument can be seen in the background. The footage captures the sheer quantity of people that were at the march and shows many of their signs and banners. The footage ends with a few dark shots of people seated in the shadows, including a young bearded man who holds a sign under his head that reads “American.”
