Abstract
Consists of outtakes from a news broadcast depicting airport operations: passengers boarding planes, purchasing tickets, baggage handlers carrying suitcases, activities that are ultimately disrupted by a strike. The vast majority of the footage depicts striking workers picketing outside Midway airport, some of which are flight stewardesses but the majority are mechanics.
Description
Film begins with a Lake Central Airlines plane is landing, with passengers disembarking the flight, grabbing their bags. There is a shot of a luggage transport vehicle reading "America's only employee owned airline" with a Lake Central Airlines logo on the passenger door.

The next sequence depicts flight stewardesses in uniform pacing outside, with sashes reading “LAKE CENTRAL STEWARDESSES ON STRIKE." This is followed by men bearing signs reading "MECHANICS and RELATED EMPLOYEES ON STRIKE" and, below, in smaller lettering, "AGAINST TRANS WORLD AIRLINES FOR BETTER WAGES AND IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS / LOCAL 1487 I.A.M. (AFL-CIO)". Eventually, one double-file rank among many ranks of striking workers can be seen, spaced out along the length of the sidewalk.

The next scene captures busy airport terminals inside; a notice from Trans World Airlines shows an apology from staff for the disruption in service due to the strike.

The film ends with shots of crowded halls in the airport, with many traveling, gate agents helping them, and so on. There are miscellaneous shots of the airport’s architecture, of the airplanes, and so on.
