Interns at Chicago Film Archives have the opportunity to learn about inventorying, inspecting, and cataloging motion picture film as well as a variety of other aspects of working in an archive. We aim to provide an interesting range of hands-on experience, complemented by educational supervision from our staff. Internships are in person at our office in Chicago, and are unpaid unless funded by your institution.

We currently host one intern per season: Autumn (September to December), Spring (February to April), Summer (May to August).
