Abstract
Covers events surrounding the Democratic Convention in Chicago in 1968. It begins with scenes before the convention, including footage of Mayor Daley at a Brighton Park groundbreaking ceremony and footage of demonstrators practicing maneuvers to be used against police lines. Shows demonstrators assembling for a rally, police and National Guardsmen confronting the protesters, the arrest of marchers, and the appearances of the candidates in Convention Hall.
