Abstract
Home movie portrait of a perfect American family with subtle tongue-and-cheek acted out scenes on gender roles. A man reads his newspaper while the woman mows the lawn. Another woman shoos him off the steps to go take over. Other footage is of a young couple picking strawberries, an older woman feeding chickens, the family eating watermelon behind a picket fence, and a man squeezing the women uncomfortably.
