Abstract
A series of short experimental and commercial sequences, most likely used as a sample/pitch reel, that utilizes various animated and live action techniques characteristic of films created by the Goldsholl Design Associates film studio. Animated sequences include images of engravings, an origami-style colored paper bird, moving dots on translucent material that is reminiscent of Moholy-Nagy’s Lightplay: Black-White-Gray, and various other abstractions. There is a small amount of live-action footage of children and men at the beach in the “Bronztan” section. Clients and products advertised include Martin Senour Paints (the “Wet Paint” campaign), Vector Colors, Gillette “Blue Blades,” and Bronztan. Created by Morton and Millie Goldsholl with Goldsholl Design Associates employees John Weber and Fred Nomiya.
