Telenews report on Republican presidential nominee Richard Nixon's campaign rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan on October 27, 1960, less than two weeks before the general election in which he would lose to John F. Kennedy.
Description
At the New York Central Railroad depot in Ann Arbor, Richard Nixon and wife Pat disembark and are greeted by a crowd of sign-waving supporters. He criticizes his opponent John F. Kennedy's rhetoric and gives a speech about education, advancing scienctific research into atomic energy, and America's superiority to the Soviet Union.
