Abstract
A news piece in which the young students at the Notre Dame day school in Chicago create colorful Valentine's Day cards by ironing flat crayon shavings and placing them within construction paper hearts. Another student makes a card featuring the outline of his foot that reads, "I love you with my heart and sole." At the end of the reel, a reporter interviews students about their cards. The original film feature a magnetic soundtrack, which was not captured for this transfer.
