FILM REQUESTS
As a new archive, CFA is in the process of cataloguing and inputting its holdings into a database. Nevertheless, we will currently try to make these films as accessible as possible for research, study and exhibition. We have a large holding of titles in the following categories:

The African American Experience
History/Biography
Music/Dance/Art
Substance Abuse/Educational
Foreign Theatrical Films
Travel and Nature Films
Vintage Sports
Chicago and the Midwest
Jewish Experience
Eastern European animation
Anthropological Films

CFA will take programming requests from private and public institutions, organizations or individuals. Curating, research and preparation for these programs will be charged at a rate of $50/hour. If the films requested need to be put into another format, CFA will have the material transferred at a lab designated by CFA. Transfer costs will be charged to the organization requesting the film(s). This cost will go towards the hourly fees created by research, programming and film preparation. As a client you will pay whichever cost is highest. Upon completion of the program or research, ALL MEDIA MUST BE RETURNED TO CFA. Unless otherwise designated, it should NOT be assumed that licensing rights are attached to the media that is lent out.

All film materials will be handled and projected by CFA employees only.
